One Step Closer To A Better Dashboard

In an effort to streamline the Dashboard and making heavy-trafficked pages like the stats and the Dashboard more robust, we’re releasing a first iteration of the SoundCloud Dashboard.
The details:
Dashboard:
You’ll notice we’ve removed the Dashboard settings in the upper right corner of the Dashboard. The removal of the settings is temporary and they’ll re-appear in a new and shiny fashion soon (as in a couple of weeks). In case you’re seeing things on your Dashboard that you had previously opted-put from, we apologize about this temporary measure, the settings will return.
Followers:
Starting today, notifications of new followers will not be displayed in your Dashboard stream anymore, but fear not: we’ve added a small orange counter in the follower tab which will notify you of new followers. Clicking it will highlight new followers. Additionally, by clicking the followers tab will take you to a list with the 50 newest followers.
Messages:
Another change is that new messages will not be included in the Dashboard stream. Similar to the followers, we’re adding an orange counter to your Inbox to notify you of new messages.
